I’d rather hear an ugly truth than a beautiful lie. Justicar presents some excellent criticism of the way that A Voice for Men handled Earl Silverman’s death. I acknowledge Early Silverman dedicated many years to creating and running Canada’s only men’s shelter for year, I also acknowledge that AVfM’s intent seemed to be to capitalize and make a martyr of Earl.
Unfortunately, it was in fact ham-fisted and hyper-hyperbolic. I think that Justicar’s criticisms here are quite Justi-fied.
