The Male Protective Instinct illustrated

Women: if you’re anything like me, you’re anxious for the well-being of the children in this video. Your response might give you a sample experience of what it feels like to experience the Male Protective Instinct.

Please don’t abuse it.

Holy fuck. What the hell is this crap?!
I wouldn’t even do this to a baby chimp or gorilla, and they are so far ahead of baby humans in muscle density and general physical capabilities that there’s little comparison. And that “rebirthing” garbage? What the hell is the point?

I don’t know how *any* man or woman can look at this and believe it to not be a form of infant abuse. Male protective instinct…female protective instinct…whatever. Both sexes for the most part understand that babies *of any species* are in need of more care and gentleness than adult men and women!

It most certainly is something, isn’t it? There comes a time when I simply have no response to some of the things that I see, and shaking one’s head doesn’t translate well into text.

I point out, however, that the sense of outrage that you are expressing mirrors how men frequently feel about the mistreatment of women. Now imagine someone pointing a finger at you and shouting “Baby hater!”

You have nicely illustrated my point. The check is in the mail :)

      • Tarnished says:

This is how I react to the mistreatment of men, women, children, and non-human animals. It has nothing to do with sex, species, age, or ethnicity…it has to do with being sickened by random acts of violence, ignorance, or cruelty.

I’m glad I helped illustrate your point, but I wanted to clarify that I’d be just as outraged to see a woman beating up her husband, a man screaming at his wife, or someone torturing one of our animal cousins. I won’t stand for anything like what I’ve mentioned above if it happens in my presence, regardless of who the victim is.

      • Francis Roy says:

Better stop that right now! People will mistake you for being a kind and fair human. That’s how it all starts you know… first it’s being kind to babies and small animals, the next thing you know the world is overrun by people who can look beyond their own noses and soon a plague of empathy will sweep the earth.

Nope. That just won’t do. Better stop that right now.

      • Tarnished says:

But…I love everybody. I can’t *not* be empathetic, I don’t know how. If someone is hurting, you help them. That’s just the way I was raised.

Oh my gosh! This reminds me of what I used to do with my dolls as a kid and get the evil eye from every little old lady in sight. This is absolutely crazy. Also, I like your irony.
