Fart rape: did I get taken?

I’d posted a meme on Fart Rape. Having communicated with Ashleigh Ingle in the past, I saw it as very possible. Is it possible that she did not make this claim?

Yes.

If so, it is admittedly embarrassing. But it is more telling that utter absurdities have become indistinguishable from actual claims. It seems that Feminists now have their own Poes.

That’s funny. I’ve seen feminist poes before, in fact I ones saw an entire “feminist” blog that was fake. When I read the “fart rape” quote yesterday I was sure it was a poe but couldn’t find any evidence when I looked it up. What made you decide it was a poe?

I have not affirmatively decided that it was a Poe, but rather, due to being unable to find the original citation, and the sheer absurdity of the statement, lean in the direction that it might be a Poe. I am currently undecided. However, having communicated with Ashley Ingle previously on Facebook (and subsequently muting her), I do not put this sort of statement beyond her. However, instances such as this

The local chapter of the Left Party, a socialist and feminist political party, in Sormland County Council, Sweden, is pushing to make standing while peeing illegal for men using the county council’s public restrooms. http://digitaljournal.com/article/352108

demonstrate that this level of absurdity is not beyond the scope of nonsense claims made.

      I’m truly undecided.
